I’ve been in commission sales and sales leadership in one form or another for over thirty-five years. It took me a few years to figure out how the game worked, but after I did I never looked back, never thought about doing anything else for a living. Along the way I created personal success and wealth, but more importantly, I was able to develop and refine a specific sales formula that absolutely worked when people worked it. These proven methods removed the mystery of who could make it in sales and why.

I write a blog that can be accessed on this site (See BLOG tab), conduct group and personal coaching programs, (Please visit our COACHING tab), and also work with a limited number of direct sales organizations in a consulting capacity.

Joe Buzzello began his sales career in 1979, with the Pennsylvania Life Companies. He became an assistant field trainer for them and went on to serve as the youngest regional sales manager in the company’s history, at the age of 19, setting sales and recruiting records and training over four hundred agents during his tenure.
In 1982 Joe became an independent agent and expanded his product offerings. During that same period he also became a part-time distributor in the MLM industry. Over the next five years his organization grew to become one of the largest MLM distributor organizations on the west coast. Joe traveled the western United States as a sought after keynote speaker in that business.
Joe continued his insurance career in the late ‘80s and accepted a position in 1992 as a regional sales coordinator for Aflac. He was promoted to the prestigious level of State Sales Coordinator in October of 1995. Joe was responsible for establishing Aflac’s base in the greater Los Angeles market. From a starting volume of only $3,200,000 in annual production Joe’s team built their territory to over $24,000,000 in annual sales in just eight years. Joe’s team eventually developed over $120,000,000 of in-force business for Aflac while establishing and 19 new regional offices in southern California. Joe hired over 120 sales managers for the company and the organization that he built exceeded their assigned sales quotas virtually every year, posting a record streak of nine consecutive years at one juncture. His sales teams also averaged double-digit growth during that time, a metric which was unprecedented.
Joe retired from active service with Aflac at the end of 2008 after a rewarding career. During his hiatus in 2009 and 2010 Joe began writing a novel, (a business thriller) which is now complete and will soon be published. (Drawing Circles) Joe recently stepped away from active service as Vice President of Regional Sales for Transamerica Employee Benefits. He is now dedicating his time solely to writing, speaking and coaching salespeople and sales leaders.
Joe has recently completed a manuscript for his upcoming book designed to assist sales people and sales trainers. The book series, speaking and training programs are entitled, The CAP Equation, A Foolproof Formula for Success in Sales.
Joe owns several real estate related entities, including Ventana Fine Properties, Inc., located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Joe has been married to his wife, Beth, since 1996 and they have a 16-year-old daughter. He and Beth are active in efforts benefiting breast cancer research, through their entity, Buzz N’ Roses. Joe also serves on the board of several 501(c3) organizations and is working with NFL legend, Eric Dickerson, for the Eric Dickerson Hall of Fame Invitational golf tournament benefitting the Young Warriors Foundation. Joe remains an active competitive golfer and is a past teaching member of the PGA of Southern California.
